Bridal Beauty

Here are just a few of my favorite images from an incredible bridal shoot last week.  We teamed up with an amazingly talented team of stylists! For anyone getting married and/or looking for hair and make-up artists, please visit: www.tiffanymonday.com and www.makeupbyberit.com. Tiffany and Berit and their team of stylists are truly some of the most talented stylists I have ever met. Please see their sites for more of their work. They are wonderful to work with and will make you feel completely relaxed and comfortable! The absolutely incredible and gorgeous jewelry in the photos are the creations of Adriane Hobson who owns Shae Z Couture. She makes custom bridal jewelry.

Two of our models, Jennifer Shope and Dyan Hall, are Soon to be Brides! Congratulations to you both! We are so excited for you and looking forward to your engagement sessions this month!!!

You'll be able to see more photos from this shoot and from other recent sessions on our NEW site www.intimategracephotography.com... COMING SOON!!!!!  inTIMATE GRACE is a new division of inGRACE photography, designed specifically for boudoir, engagements, bridal and weddings.

This is my lovely Lovely... that is actually her name! How awesome is that? :-) And it truly fits her inside and out.

Eliza was our Earth Mother Bride. She looked stunning! She's actually wearing one of my Mom's original dresses from the 70's.

Tree Hugger :-)

Pocahontas waiting for her John Smith...

Beautiful Lourdes...

Okay, so Lourdes is actually wearing MY wedding dress. She looked so incredible in it! It was such a hoot to see someone else wear the dress and have just as much fun in it as I did. Plus, I'm so glad to see it's getting more than one use! It's too awesome of a dress not wear again!

Lara looked stunning in this gown! And the necklace she's wearing is one of my favorite pieces by Shae Z Couture.

Beautiful Bride-to-be Jennifer....

Love Sparks on the Beach

Although David and Adela were married in June, they wanted to recreate their special day on the beach where they would spend time together when they first fell in love... at Crystal Cove. Our plans changed quickly when they arrived and found that we needed a permit to shoot on that beach (something neither of us realized) and we continued down PCH to another gorgeous spot in Laguna. Phew! You have to think quickly when you are working with evening lighting. But everything turned out perfectly and it was an absolutely wonderful shoot. Both David and Adela looked fantastic, and their affection for one another is quite evident in their photos. We wish them many years of love and happiness together as they start this new chapter in their lives...

Delicate Details

Capturing all those delicate details on your wedding day are so important. Years will go by and the little things that meant so much to you on your day can sometimes be forgotten until you pull out those pictures again and relive the day all over again. Make sure, whoever your photographer is, that they document all your precious little details.

Uncovering Family Roots

For the longest time, two dark and sort of creepy painted portraits of my ancestors hung on the walls of my Grandmother's house in Rye, NY. The painted portraits had been passed down the family line, linked to my Grandmother's vague recollection of her family, only remembering snippits of information from an aunt and uncle after her parents had passed on at an early age. My Father has been tracking our family lineage over the years and with the help of ancestors.com continues to put the pieces together.

Here are a few pix from one of his latest finds...

These are actually the grave stones of the two ancestors in the painted portraits and other immediate family members, buried in Hudson, NY.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Just got back from a really fantastic trip to New York, where I got to spend a wonderful Father's Day with my Dad & sister! Here are a few pictures from our Father's Day Kayaking Adventure on the Hudson River in Cold Spring, NY. Anyone visiting New York shouldn't miss taking the train up the Hudson to Cold Spring. It lets you off right downtown. The views are gorgeous. Tons of hiking trails. Kayaking. Shopping. Antique shops galore!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!!!

ALL MY LOVE & GRACE FOR BROOKELYNNE

My amazing dog Brookelynne passed on this past Friday. She has brought me the most incredible joy over the last 13 years. She's been a part of my life since I came home from my first year at college. Although I am so saddened by the idea that I cannot hold her tight and kiss her sweet face, I know that she is with me in spirit. I can hear her barking and see her free as a bird soaring after her beloved tennis balls. When I look at her life I can't see loss. Because what she gave me I can never lose.

I LOVE YOU, MY DEAR SWEET BROOKELYNNE!

YOU ARE FOREVER IN MY HEART! AND I HOPE AND PRAY THAT ONE DAY OUR PATHS WILL CROSS AGAIN!
